This dataset was previously released under an All Rights Reserved license.
Because of the volume of requests to use it, that restriction is lifted.

Permission is hereby granted, free of charge, to any person or organization
obtaining a copy of this dataset, to use, copy, publish, and build upon it -
including in research papers, white papers, articles, visualizations, maps,
internal tools, and commercial products - subject to the conditions below.

CONDITIONS

1. ATTRIBUTION IS REQUIRED. Credit must appear wherever the data or anything
   derived from it is shown or published. Use this form, or something clearly
   equivalent:

   In academic work, cite it as you would any other dataset. In a visual
   product, a credit line on the map, in the legend, or in an about panel is

2. DO NOT CLAIM AUTHORSHIP. You may not present this dataset, or a
   substantially unmodified copy of it, as your own compilation, nor
   relicense it in a way that strips the attribution requirement from
   downstream users.

Not a condition of the license - you owe no email. But if you are using this
for something, I would genuinely like to hear about it. Open an issue on the
repository or get in touch. I am curious what people do with it.

ACCURACY AND WARRANTY

This dataset is compiled from open sources. Facility locations vary in
precision: some are building-level coordinates, many resolve only to a city,
and a portion fall back to state or country centroids. It is not verified
ground truth, it is not complete, and it should not be treated as either.
Check anything that matters before you rely on it.
